The web is full of tutorials and cookbook recipies, but has a remarkable lack of basic explanation. Your Digital Mentor fills that gap. What you will find here is short articles explaining the principles behind computer tools. I do my best to be hardware and operating-system neutral; what you learn here you can apply to any computer you use.
Having said that, I'm a Mac user and I work in the area of digital creativity. So most of my examples are drawn from those areas (I'm a mentor, remember? I teach from my own experience). I use both Windows and Linux regularly, but Macintosh is my specialty.
