I do my best to answer "what do you think of XXX?" questions quickly and completely, and the answer often finds its way into an article. I may or may not give you a satisfactory answer to "how do I do YYY?" questions. These tend to require much more time than I have available for unpaid consulting.
If your question is complex or requires research on my part, I'm happy to sit down with you either in person, over the phone, or via email. It all starts with your initial request. Once I understand your needs I'll make an estimate of how much it will cost, and if you're happy with the price we'll go from there.
Sometimes the job is too big for you, even with mentoring. Just tell me what you need and I'll give you an estimate. If you're wondering what I can do, the answer is "pretty much anything digital."
I have a B.Sc. in computer science and a BFA in photography. I've been writing software since I was fifteen and building websites since the web was invented. I prefer to work on a Macintosh, but I've used all platforms and will do so again. Whatever you've got in mind; trust me, I can do it. My projects page lists some of the things I've already done.
